Objectives

The main objective of this meeting is to present and discuss new developments and perspectives in the area of control, data acquisition, data management and remote participation for nuclear fusion research around the world.

Format and Topics

The Technical Meeting will include invited and contributed papers (orals and posters) presented in sessions devoted to the following topics:

  • PC: Plasma Control;
  • MCR: Machine Control, Monitoring, Safety and RemoteManipulation;
  • DASP: Data Acquisition and Signal Processing;
  • DTI: Database Techniques for Information Storage and Retrieval;
  • MDA: Advanced Computing and Massive Data Analysis;
  • RPVL: Remote Participation and Virtual Laboratory;
  • FNT: Fast Network Technology and its Application.

Oral sessions will be followed by poster sessions to enhance topical discussions. It is expected that all talks will be ~ 20 minutes with ~ 10 minutes for discussion. An International Programme Advisory Committee (IPAC) consisting of a representative international membership will be responsible for the selection of papers, the arrangements of technical sessions and the overall scientific content of the meeting.
